Kultpower-Archiv sucht Supporter

Kultige Retro-Hefte findet ihr seit ca. einem dreiviertel Jahr komplett eingescannt im Kultpower-Archiv . Viele Stunden Arbeit habe ich in die Programmierung des Web-Interfaces und natürlich in das Scannen der Hefte gesteckt. Ab sofort kannst du aber auch mithelfen!

Ein Heft online stellen, dazu sind die folgenden Schritte notwendig:

1. alle Seiten einzeln einscannen und korrekt designate continuously cut
2. each page individually (for that alone I have written an own web application, for a generic image-editing program would be far too expensive) scale
3. the pages to the final size and create the preview images - thanks ImageMagick does it happily with a command line command.
4. now it is again important, contrary to expectations: the content must be captured! Without content, it would be found in each issue to act 'just' a lot of JPG files, and a specific meaning, one would have to look at every page.
   content is here also: A Review for Game X, a preliminary report on Y game, an interview with man Z, etc. This creates then the index to this book, you can now also search the archive for keywords and immediately see where that right content is available.
   It's standard procedure that is reasonable for a database.

The web interface for recording the content I've even completely programmed in PHP - there is something special it's not natural to "market". The content can be framed with pixel precision on each page and the associated data (category, name) entered.

Why I write this here now? It's simple: I have here a great many books have been scanned, it must actually only the content are reported in the books. And when you come in!

Disclaimer: Ich habe Familie, Beruf und neben Kultpower.de andere Hobbies. Das bedeutet: auch von mir könnte es mal ein paar Tage keine Rückmeldung geben. Das von mir entwickelte Web-Interface ist kein "kommerzielles" und damit kein professionelles System zur Eingabe der Daten - es funktioniert aber trotzdem. Alle Daten, die bislang vorhanden sind, habe ich damit eingegeben. Ich habe eine Anleitung geschrieben, wie es zu benutzen ist und was zu beachten ist.
